Born in Aichi. Received M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the University of Tokyo. He is among the "first generation", who experienced the dawn of the new space age; he was one of the first few college students who had built Cansat (a 350lm size satellite prototype) and Cutesat (10cm x 10cm x 10cm nano-satellite). He was responsible for satellite communication and holds the license of the Technical Radio Operator for On-The-Ground Services (2nd grade). After obtaining units in the doctoral program in the department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the University of Tokyo, he became CTO of AXELSPACE Corp.
He is also known as a skilled juggler.
