Yuya Nakamura

Born in Mie, Japan. Received Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the University of Tokyo, where he worked on the three nano-satellite projects (XI-IV, XI-V, and PRISM). He was the first Japanese to watch the launch of the nano-satellite in the Russian console.
His wide variety of work includes development of a novel mobile phone service that e-mails pictures taken by the nano-satellites in space to mobile phones. He also served as the first student trustee of the NPO "University Space Engineering Consortium (UNISEC)" and established a basis for a new student group that later became "UNISON".
Enthusiastic about providing services using his nano-satellite development skills, he became the CEO of AXELSPACE Corp.
